Hey I'm Chris.  or Christopher.  or CT.  Whichever you prefer is cool.

I'm from the suburbs, north of Dallas, Texas, in the good ol' U.S. of A. 

Some of my interests include film, music (both playing and listening), history, gaming, & sports.  I like to think that I dabble in a lot of things, that I'm good at a few things but a master of nothing.

Why have I come to Japan? 

I hope to get a better understanding of the people of Japan, study the language, and learn as much as I can about this country's very deep history.  I won't lie though... I want to have a lot fun just experiencing new things, too.

My interests don't lie solely with Japan, but this country has always been one of the places I had hoped to live.  Here, I have the unique opportunity to experience Japan outside of the big, well-known cities (like Tokyo & Osaka) and get to know Japanese life in the inaka (countryside).  I hope that this is the first of many future adventures abroad.
